As for the traditional cast, you have to first wrap the affected area with cotton fabric and bind it with bandage, or tape it with tape or cast bandage. So, it causes itching and odor as you can not have contact with water, which causes great pain on patient’s part.
- HM CAST is made up of unique fabric, which is knitted with unique weaving, so it has good air permeability, thus resulting in the reduction of itching and odor. As a result, after you can take shower or bath it is naturally dried with air permeation and body temperature ( water repellency fabric)
Wearing Procedure
As for the traditional tape method, it requires a measure of expertise for wearing procedure. And despite such expertise, still, there is a possibility of the wound due to curved surface of skin.
- HM CAST is worn just like socks are worn. And due to its flexibility, it hardens according to the natural curves of skin so it causes no wound and feels comfortable.
X-Ray Penetration
As for plaster or glass fiber products, they hinder X-ray from permeating so it makes hard to verify the healing process of bones. - HM CAST is made of cotton yarn so X-ray can easily permeate and helps easily verify detailed healing process of bones.
Light weight
HM CAST is a lot lighter than existing products so it reduces the discomfort of patients. - HM CAST is made of unique fabric enabling air to permeate easily so that absorption and discharge of moisture naturally take place and there is no accumulation of moisture on the product which burdens patients.
Fashionable
- HM CAST is a stocking-shaped product on which you can personally add patterns or select different colors of the products so you can have your own fashionable cast.
Eco-friendly
The traditional cast is made of glass fiber so it is hard to incinerate. - HM CAST is poly type cotton yarn fabric so it is easy to incinerate.

2. Take HM CAST out of packing paper and roll it in donut shape. Cut parts of the HM CAST if fixing the thumb.

3. Dip it in the water for 3 ~ 5 sec, and gently shake couple times it out once or twice. [Water moderate temp. (20 ~ 25℃)

4. Leave about 3 cm on the ends of the skin protector (this is for the easy completion of folding the protector on the ends after treatment.) on the thumb part, roll the sectioned cast and fold up the protector to fix it.

5. Unroll and raise the HM CAST to the end, and then fold the end of the skin protector for the finish.

6. When doing molding, rub the HM CAST with lightly moistended palms to make the cast fit and hard.

7. Completed HM CAST. (The HM CAST gets solid and able to fix well after 10 ~ 15 minutes.)

2. Store products flat on even floor. -If the product is stored in a standing position, the hardening liquid inside the product is withdrawn and the strength of the product is uneven, making it unusable.
3. During the procedure, the appropriate water temperature is between 20°C and 25°C. Soak the entire caste in water for 3 to 5 seconds before removing it. - Partially immersed or sprinkled water results in uneven cast strength. - Higher than the appropriate water temperature may result in high heat and burns during the procedure, and lower water temperatures will result in lower product strength.
4. During the procedure, the temperature and humidity of the room are between 20 and 25°C, and low humidity is recommended. - Set the water temperature to close to 25°C if the room temperature is low and 20°C if the room temperature is high.
5. When you immerse the product in water and remove moisture, never wring it and gently shake it off. -There is a high risk of heat and burns during treatment due to the swelling of the sclerotic fluid
6. HM CAST must be performed in one layer. - If more than 1 layer is folded, there is a risk of high fever and burns.
7. Prior to product treatment, make sure to check the thickness and length of the affected area and select the right size product. - Use a thick, in-inch product. If the product is long, cut the skin protection unit and HM CAST before treatment. - Excessive use of short-length products can cause reduced strength.
8. If the product has a high fever during the product procedure, remove the product immediately or soak the affected area in cold water to cool down.
